5th Annual 48hrs of Tri-State Benefit Run 2006
| |||
Vital Information: | |||
| |||
When: | Jan 6-8, 2006 | ||
Where: | NJ->PA->NY->CT
Who: | Anyone who loves to drive
What: | 1000+ miles of
roads, touring the entire Tri-state area. This is a fun and friendly
drive and bonding with other Subaru Enthusiasts throughout the Tri-state
Area. We've been doing this Annual run for 5 years straight and this
year should prove to be no different. Bring your friends, bring your
relatives, bring your enthusiasm, and most importantly, BRING YOUR SENSE
OF HUMOR! Over the 3 days the group will cover backroads, traffic,
and no doubt have some trying circumstances, but as a group we'll get
through it all!
This year we are going back to the original format! It will truly be 48hrs. Starting Friday night in NJ and ending at the Palisades Mall in Nyack, NY Sunday night! The pace will be hectic as we will be covering a lot of ground in a short time. Some links for this year's trip: Here are some maps: Map
Overview Fund Raising: Pics from Previous Runs: Co-pilots/Co-drivers are also welcome,
this will be a lot of driving and a co-pilot will help immensely.

Items to Bring with you!
Spare tire, properly inflated (check PSI)
CB, even "borrow" a hand held one from Radio Shack for the weekend. This is essential, without it the trip will have less of a meaning for yah.
Co-driver/Co-pilot It's going to be a long drive, if you can bring a co-pilot or a co-driver that would be great.
Sleeping Bag. May need it @ Motels if we pack in a bunch of people. Also it's a good idea whenever doing winter driving to have one in case you are stuck on the side of the road overnight.
EZ PASS- This is essential, last year we got fouled up a few times going through toll booths.

Other Info: | |||
This year's trip will
be a blast as always. We've shortened it slightly to give us a more
leisurely pace and able to spend more time in each city we visit.
Other years due to snow and other items that pop up we were constantly
battling the clock, this schedule allows for more sleep and more
fun!
E-mail me with any and all questions and I'll gladly answer them for yah
